SMC’s Congenital Vascular Malformation Clinic is one of only a few health care centers in the world specialized in congenital vascular malformations.
Since our opening in 1994, we have gained vast experience of treating the malformations for 20 years. We have an excellent and globally rare multidisciplinary treatment network where talented health care professionals work together very closely from different teams including the Division of Vascular Surgery, the Intervention Team of the Radiology Department, the Department of Internal Medicine, the Anesthesiology, Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine, and Plastic Surgery Departments. So far, around 1,000 patients have been treated by us.
Foreign patients also visit us from around the world for our world-class treatment. We boast great academic achievements, too, publishing our experience and results in a number of renowned global journals.
