Introduction
Balance problems can lead to falling down or joint sprains. Through the balance test, we can detect muscle weakness of the lower extremities, proprioception impairment, visual problems, and vestibular dysfunction. We can also assess the stability of the joints and acquire numeric data regarding balance and motor control.
Method
The adaptive capability of the body can be tested by a sudden change in ankle position. Tests will be undertaken with the eyes opened as well as closed. The test can also be performed under a variety of conditions.
