Pediatric Occupational Therapy Unit

Introduction

For children who are developmentally delayed or disabled we provide services that can improve the child's mobility, perception, cognition, routine activities, hand function, and playing skills. This is achieved by first assessing their physical and cognitive abilities and by determining the problems that interrupt their normal development so that treatment can be provided accordingly. In addition, we provide guardians with treatment information and help children to get customized treatment through caregiver education.

  • Cerebral Palsy
  • Developmental Disability
  • Learning disorder, Mental retardation, Down's syndrome, etc
  • Sensory integration dysfunction
  • Other diseases (Musculoskeletal disorders, Traumatic brain injury, etc.)

Method of therapy include the following

  • Therapy for facilitating oral motor
  • Therapy for increasing coordination
  • Therapy for increasing hand function
  • Therapy for increasing self-care skill
  • Therapy for increasing cognition/perception
