For the purpose of training high-quality medical experts with professional knowledge and desirable characters, SMC has established the advanced education system and environments to provide the fellow candidates with diverse clinical experiences. SMC also provides EBM training, medical English training and guest lecture programs on a regular basis, thus is being recognized as a top-level medical training center in Korea.
On March 1997, SMC was designated as the training hospital for Sungkyunkwan University School of Medicine to help train high quality, leading medical experts of Korea. SKKUSM has adopted the problem-based learning (PBL) system for the first time in Korea as an advanced medical learning technique, implemented multimedia training infrastructures and intensified laboratory and hands-on training programs. As such, SKKUSM serves as the leading medical training institute of Korea.
