Osteosarcma Center
For the efficient treatment of malignant tumors that develop on the limbs, Osteosarcoma Team comprises specialists from the Department Orthopedic Surgery, Department of Radiology, Department of Pathology, Department of Hematology and Oncology and Department of Radiation Oncology.
In addition to the primary osteosarcoma, we also deal with metastatic bone tumors where a tumor develops in other parts of the body and spreads to the bones. In general, osteosarcoma is less common than other varieties of cancer. Therefore, it is necessary to develop specialized medical organizations to provide extensive medical services to the osteosarcoma patients.
For tumors on the limbs including osteosarcoma, decision for treatment must be produced after compositely reviewing the patient’s symptoms and radiographs. Then, biopsy and treatment must be systematically administered.
Although osteosarcoma is a complicated disease that requires well-organized diagnosis and treatment plans, satisfactory results can be achieved by establishing and executing the well-coordinated treatment plans.
