Department of Ophthalmology
The Department of Ophthalmology aims to improve or restore diminished and lost vision. We study and treat a full range of diseases related with eyeballs and orbital accessory organs such as eyelids. We also conduct many basic and clinical research programs to more accurately diagnose and handle eye problems. Ophthalmology remains one of the most actively studied and highly specialized areas, for vision is directly relative to the quality of life and the orbital structure is inconceivably complicated. Ophthalmology was initially a part of surgical medicine, but is encompassing a broader spectrum as it often merges with neurology. Our services include evaluation of visual function and orbital accessory organs, and treating all ophthalmic diseases, injuries, age-related degenerative changes and refractive abnormalities. Our professionals offer solutions designed to best cater to each patient’s needs, ranging from superior surgical treatment to prescription for glasses or contact lenses.
