The Department of Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine(PRM) offers evaluation and treatment for patients with degenerated spinal and limb function (e.g. gait disturbance and paralysis) due to injuries or diseases of the brain, spine and limbs, while also dealing with pain management. We run a broad range of rehabilitation programs to help patients maximize function or mobility that has been affected by injuries or disabilities to achieve a significant level of recovery. Our services span musculoskeletal studies, medical rehabilitation and electrodiagnostics. We deliver quality patient care through a multidisciplinary approach, supported by our highly skilled staff of 50 professors, physicians, nurses, physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech therapists, exercise therapists and electromyogram operators. We pride ourselves on comprehensive, customized rehabilitation programs for strokes, spinal cord injuries, cerebral palsy, lower back pain, arthritis, sports injuries, podiatric diseases and lymphedema.
