환경성 질환의 악화인자 규명 및 효율적 관리 방안 개발
저희 아토피 환경보건센터는 환경유해인자로 인해 발생할 수 있는 건강피해를 규명하고 질환의 발생을 예방, 관리하는 방안을 개발하며, 연구 결과를 바탕으로 지역사회에 교육, 홍보하는 역할을 담당하고 있습니다. 특히 대표적인 환경성 질환인 아토피피부염의 발생과 악화에 관여하는 환경요인을 규명하는 연구를 진행하고 있으며, 이를 기반으로 아토피피부염 환자에 대한 적절한 관리대책을 개발하여 적용했을 때 아토피피부염의 피부 증상 악화 예방, 중증도의 감소 및 삶의 질 향상에 미치는 영향을 연구하고 있습니다.
아토피피부염/식품알레르기의 병인 규명 및 새로운 치료법 개발
아토피피부염과 식품알레르기는 영유아에서 유병률이 높은 질환으로, 식품에 의한 아나필락시스는 생명을 위협할 수도 있습니다. 저희 연구팀에서는 아토피피부염과 식품알레르기의 유병률 및 위험요인을 분석하여 그 결과를 해외 유명 학술지에 게재하였으며 현재 이들 질환의 병인을 규명하는 연구를 진행하고 있습니다. 또한 아토피피부염 코호트 구축을 통한 다학제적 맞춤형 관리 시스템이나 식품알레르기에서의 면역 요법 등 국내 유일의 앞선 방식을 도입하여 환자행복을 추구하고 이 분야 연구의 세계 일류가 되고자 합니다.
