초대의 글
풍성한 결실의 계절을 맞아 선생님의 무궁한 발전을 기원합니다. 1995년 2월 14일 신장이식을 시작으로 간이식, 소장이식, 췌장이식, 각막이식 그리고, 심장이식등 다장기 이식을 시행하는 센터로 꾸준히 발전을 거듭하여 왔습니다. 이와 더불어 1997년 11월 The 1st Samsung International Transplantation Symposium ’Pitfalls in Liver Transplantation’을 개최했고, 2001년 10월에는 ’간이식의 최신 지견’이란 주제로 간이식 심포지엄을 했습니다. 이런 노력과 결실을 바탕으로 저희 센터에서는 11월 3일 The 2nd Samsung International Transplantation Symposium 을 개최할 예정입니다. 특히 이번 심포지엄에서는 초청 연자로 미국 존스홉킨스 병원의 Dr. Andrew Klein 과 Dr. Robert A. Montgomery 그리고, 캐나다 Alberta 대학의 Ray V. Rajotte가 참석하여 특강을 할 예정입니다. 환자 진료와 학문연구에 바쁘시더라도 꼭 참석하시어 자리를 빛내 주시기 바라며, 선생님들의 많은 참여 부탁 드립니다. 감사합니다.
