As the year drew to a close, U.S. service members stationed at a nearby military camp, along with their families, brought the spirit of Christmas to pediatric patients at Samsung Medical Center.

On December 24, soldiers from the helicopter unit at K-16 visited the pediatric ward of the hospital joined by family members dressed as Santa Claus. Carrying more than 200 carefully prepared gifts, they spent time with hospitalized children, sharing smiles, taking photos, and filling the ward with warmth and festive cheer.

The visit was the result of months of thoughtful preparation. The families selected age- and gender-appropriate gifts for the children, wrapping each one by hand to ensure the presents would bring comfort and joy.

Children greeted Santa Claus with excitement. The pediatric ward, often a place of quiet concern, was transformed into a space filled with laughter and Christmas spirit.

Some of the remaining gifts were donated for children scheduled to be hospitalized during the Christmas holiday, extending the spirit of giving beyond the day of the visit.
