I’m wondering if my condition can be treated at Samsung Medical Center. What should I do?

You can contact our International Healthcare Center through this website. Please click on Request an Appointment and provide the patient’s basic information along with a brief description of the diagnosis and symptoms.

 

Based on the information you submit, we will inform you whether treatment is available and help schedule an appropriate appointment. 

 

To ensure smooth and safe medical care, please keep the following guidelines in mind

  • If the patient is under 18 years old, a parent or legal guardian must accompany them to the appointment.
  • Audio recording and video filming during the consultation are not permitted.

I would like to get a health check-up. What is the procedure?

For self-pay health check-ups, please visit the Health Promotion Center website and click Make an Appointment.

If you are using private insurance, please click Request an Appointment to consult with a primary care physician first. After the consultation, appropriate tests will be prescribed and scheduled accordingly.

Please note that the types of tests covered by insurance may vary depending on your insurance plan and age.

Can I receive same-day consultation if I walk-in without an appointment?

We strongly recommend making an appointment in advance, as same-day consultations are subject to doctor availability and cannot be guaranteed for walk-in patients.

How can I send my imaging files via DROPBOX?

When sending medical images, please use DROPBOX. Upload images on DROPBOX, create a link and share the link address to us. Here is the guideline to use DROPBOX.

 

1. Download DROPBOX software from www.dropbox.com

2. Create your own account

3. Upload the medical images to DROPBOX in ZIP format

4. Create the link to share your file

5. Then send us the link address for web browsing

*Uploaded images will be automatically deleted after one year if the patient does not receive a consultation.

Can I receive a medical opinion without visiting the hospital in person?

We offer convenient video consultations for patient who cannot visit the hospital in person. You can speak directly with our medical staff through a secure and easy-to-use platform. Book your appointment online and receive care from the comfort of your home.[Video Consultation]

What should I do if I need to check-out after the International Healthcare Center’s working hours?

The International Healthcare Center is open from 8AM to 5PM.

If your consultation is expected to finish after 5PM, our staff will provide check-out instructions over the phone in advance.

If any follow-up appointments need to be arranged, our team will contact you the next business day to assist with scheduling.

Is it necessary to have a guardian present for endoscopy?

Yes, a guardian must accompany the patient during an endoscopy. Since sedative medications are used during the procedure, a guardian is required to make medical decisions in case of an emergency.
