Colorectal Cancer Center
Comprehensive Colorectal Cancer Care, Focused on You
At the Colorectal Cancer Center, we deliver patient-centered, evidence-based care through a specialized and integrated approach. From diagnosis to recovery, every step of the treatment is guided by a multidisciplinary team of experts working together to achieve the best possible outcomes. Through regular Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) discussions, specialists collaborate to develop optimal treatment plans for each patient. From advanced surgery to chemotherapy and radiation, we provide expert care supported by the latest medical technology.
Advanced Treatments and Experienced Specialists
We actively adopt advanced treatment modalities-including laparoscopic and robotic surgery, targeted therapy, immunotherapy, and proton therapy-to improve treatment outcomes. Minimally invasive approaches, such as laparoscopic or robotic surgery, are performed in over 90% of our cases, enabling optimal recovery and outcomes. For patients with metastatic colorectal cancer, we perform molecular profiling to guide targeted chemotherapy. Proton therapy is offered for patients with refractory metastatic disease or locally recurrent rectal cancer, reflecting our commitment to delivering the best outcomes through a wide range of advanced therapies.
All departments follow a standardized clinical protocol based on international guidelines, ensuring consistent, high-quality care across disciplines.
Specialized Expertise
Minimally Invasive Surgery
Our expert surgical team performs a wide range of minimally invasive procedures, including laparoscopic, single-port laparoscopic, and da Vinci robotic surgery, selecting the most appropriate technique for each patient.
Bowel Function Rehabilitation Program
Our program provides regular bowel function assessments, interventions, and rehabilitation education starting immediately after surgery. The ultimate goal is to enhance each patient's quality of life by promoting optimal bowel function recovery.
Multidisciplinary Team Discussions (MDT)
Through MDT meetings, specialists from relevant departments collaborate to determine the most effective treatment strategy. This approach is particularly valuable for patients with refractory or recurrent colorectal cancer, where treatment decisions are often complex.
Innovative Treatment Approaches
We are committed to adopting advanced therapies for patients with refractory or recurrent colorectal cancer. Our center actively conducts clinical trials involving targeted chemotherapy and immunotherapies to improve survival outcomes.
Since 2016, we have offered proton therapy-particularly for patients with unresectable liver metastases and locally recurrent rectal cancer-cases traditionally considered difficult to treat. By applying proton therapy with curative intent, we aim to maximize treatment efficacy and improve patients-quality of life.
