Gastric Cancer Center
Gastric Cancer Center
The Gastric Cancer Center is staffed by faculty members and a coordinator from the Departments of Surgery, Gastroenterology, Hematology and Oncology, Radiation oncology, Radiology and Pathology-all working in close collaboration to provide comprehensive stomach cancer care. Each department contributes its specialized expertise to the diagnosis and treatment of gastric cancer. To deliver swift and thorough care, the center employs a variety of treatment methods, including laparoscopic gastrectomy, robotic surgery, endoscopic submucosal dissection, and novel chemotherapy and radiotherapy approaches.
Fast Track
Our one-stop care system enables patients to complete diagnostic evaluations, receive test results, and establish a treatment plan-all on the day of their initial visit.
Specialized Expertise
Minimally Invasive Surgery
We promote rapid recovery by offering robot-assisted surgery and single-port laparoscopic approaches, offering less pain, shorter hospital stays, and quicker return to daily life.
Endoscopic Submucosal Dissection
We perform more than 600 cases of endoscopic submucosal dissection (ESD) procedures annually for early gastric cancer, achieving a complete resection rate of over 85%.
This minimally invasive technique delivers excellent clinical outcomes and high patient satisfaction.
Precision Oncology
For patients with metastatic gastric cancer, we conduct comprehensive analyses of genomic alterations and proteomic signatures to guide personalized targeted therapy.
Leveraging the latest genomic profiling technologies, we tailor treatment by selecting and combining immune checkpoint inhibitors and molecularly targeted agents as part of an individualized therapeutic strategy.
Rigorous and High-Impact Clinical Research
Our center plays a leading role in advancing cutting-edge research in surgical treatment, endoscopic interventions, and systemic chemotherapy, helping to shape the future of gastric cancer management.
