Comprehensive Cardiovascular Excellence

At Samsung Medical Center, the Division of Cardiology offers comprehensive, multidisciplinary care through specialized teams for coronary artery disease, heart failure, valvular disease, arrhythmias, aortic and peripheral vascular diseases, pulmonary hypertension, and cardiac rehabilitation.

The Imaging Center provides rapid and precise diagnoses through advanced imaging modalities and a streamlined one-day diagnostic system. Our hybrid OR enables complex procedures such as high-risk PCI and advanced valve interventions.

The Heart Failure team leads in LVAD support and cardiac transplantation with outstanding outcomes. The Arrhythmia team provides advanced catheter ablation, device therapy, and hybrid procedures, and established Korea's first Ventricular Arrhythmia Clinic.

The Valvular team specializes in TAVI and imaging-guided treatment planning. The Pulmonary Hypertension Center delivers expert, guideline-based care across diverse forms of PH, integrating diagnostics, vasodilator therapy, and interventional options such as BPA.

Our cardiac rehab program enhances recovery and quality of life through personalized training in collaboration with the Sports Medicine Center.

Comprehensive Arrhythmia & EP Care

From ablation to device therapy, our arrhythmia team leads in AF management, CRT, ICD, hybrid approaches, and Korea's first Ventricular Arrhythmia Clinic.

Advanced Heart Failure Program

We offer CRT, ICD, LVAD, and heart transplantation with excellent outcomes, offering hope to patients with advanced heart failure who are not candidates for transplant.
