The Department of Radiology at Samsung Medical Center provides accurate, safe, and timely imaging services.

With more than 85 board-certified radiologists organized by subspecialty-including Thoracic, Neuro, Emergency, Musculoskeletal, Cardiac, Interventional, Neurointerventional, Urogenital, Breast & Thyroid, Abdominal, and Pediatric Radiology-we deliver tailored diagnostic and interventional procedures using CT, MRI, ultrasound, X-ray, and angiography.

Specialized Imaging and Minimally Invasive Care

Thoracic Radiology offers ultra-low-dose, ultra-high-resolution CT, thoracic MRI, and 3D reconstruction for lung analysis and image-guided biopsy.

Neuroradiology provides advanced MRI sequences and specialized CT protocols for precise diagnosis of stroke, brain tumors, dementia, and other neurologic or head and neck conditions.

Emergency Radiology provides 24-hour imaging services for trauma and critical cases by subspecialty-trained radiologists.

Musculoskeletal radiology performs RFA and cryoablation for bone tumors.

Cardiac Radiology leads Korea in cardiac MRI volume, including stress cardiac MRI, supported by a large imaging database.

Interventional Radiology provides minimally invasive procedures-such as embolization, stenting, and ablation-with reduced risk and faster recovery through multidisciplinary collaboration.
