As the aging population leads to a rise in arrhythmia cases, our team delivers optimal treatment through collaborative decision-making by both medical and surgical experts. The Arrhythmia Team at Samsung Medical Center provides world-class care for patients with complex and treatment-resistant arrhythmias, using the latest technologies and devices. For bradyarrhythmias, we offer a wide range of advanced implantable devices, including wireless pacemakers and conduction system pacing. For tachyarrhythmias such as atrial fibrillation (AF), atrial tachycardia (AT), and ventricular tachycardia (VT), we utilize the latest technologies including cryoablation, pulse field ablation, and 3D electroanatomical mapping systems to deliver precise and effective treatment.

Specialized Expertise

Optimal AF Ablation Procedures

We provide state-of-the-art ablation procedures for both paroxysmal and persistent AF using the latest cryoablation and pulse field ablation technologies, significantly reducing procedure times and complications. For complex and recurrent cases, we utilize 3D mapping systems to enhance precision. In collaboration with the Department of Thoracic Surgery, we also perform hybrid AF procedures to further improve outcomes.

Host of the International Symposium on Ventricular Tachycardia

We lead the field in ventricular arrhythmia treatment, hosting Korea's only International Symposium of Ventricular Tachycardia annually to promote global academic exchange and clinical advancement.
