Samsung Medical Center announced that it held the "Do! Dream! Atopic Dermatitis Family Camp" on August 11.
The camp was held as part of the National Ultra-Rare Disease Infrastructure Research Project, itself part of the "Lee Kun-hee Child Cancer & Rare Disease Project (CCRDP)," and offered families a range of programs to help children and parents take an active role in managing the condition together.

The camp featured lectures providing accurate, science-based information on managing atopic dermatitis, a hands-on session in which children could observe house dust mites up close, and an O/X quiz on atopic dermatitis, along with other activities designed with children's understanding in mind.
Professor Ji Hyun Kim of the Department of Pediatrics said, "Atopic dermatitis is a chronic condition that affects the lives of both children and their families, making accurate information and warm support essential." She added, "I hope this camp offered scientific explanations tailored to children's understanding, a time for parents to share their concerns with empathy, and a warm gathering where everyone could encourage one another."
