Pediatrics
Excellence in Comprehensive Pediatric Care
The Department of Pediatrics provides expert, multidisciplinary care for the most critically ill and complex pediatric patients in Korea.
With a deep commitment to promoting the health and well-being of children, we deliver comprehensive, evidence-based, and compassionate care across a full spectrum of pediatric subspecialties-supported by advanced medical infrastructure and close multidisciplinary collaboration.
Clinical Leadership and Comprehensive Care
We lead pediatric care in Korea through clinical excellence. Our faculty includes experts across nine subspecialties who provide advanced, team-based treatment through structured, collaborative care systems. As a tertiary referral center, we deliver high-level care for critically ill children, supported by intensive care units and coordinated multidisciplinary teams.
We also regularly host academic symposiums to foster leadership in pediatric medicine.
We provide specialized care for children with rare, severe, or medically complex conditions across all pediatric subspecialties.
Through dedicated pediatric wards and pediatric intensive care units, we offer integrated diagnosis, advanced treatment, and long-term management tailored to each child's clinical and developmental needs. Our structured, multidisciplinary care model enables timely, expert-led decision-making. In addition to medical care, we offer pediatric palliative care, home-based services, and individualized education
Innovative Research for Children's Health
We lead innovative, clinically relevant research across all pediatric subspecialties. Our faculty conduct clinical trials, translational research, and collaborative studies to advance pediatric science and improve outcomes.
By integrating genomics, clinical epidemiology, and digital health technologies, we develop novel diagnostics and therapies tailored to individual patients. Each year, our team publishes in leading international journals and contributes to global pediatric guidelines.
Through strong academic mentorship and international partnerships, we continue to advance the frontiers of pediatric research and innovation.
