    There are three full-time doctors at IHS, and the specialties are Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Cardiology, Endocrinology, Rheumatology, OBGYN, Pediatrics, Spine Orthopedic Surgery, Rehabilitation Medicine and Pediatric Neurology. In addition, about 40 internal/external medicine clinics and more than 12 special clinics are available in each department.

    For first-time visitors, bring a photo ID for verification and all medical reports and medical images related to treatment or symptoms. Please note that all medical images must be registered before treatment, so arrive at the center 30 minutes prior to treatment. If you have overseas insurance which has established a service agreement with IHS, contact the insurance company and request a GOP two days prior to the treatment date. For more details of requesting a GOP, please refer to the Billing and Insurance section.
    If this is your first visit, make sure to bring your ID card (Passport) so that we can identify.
    Please bring all related medical reports and CD related to your symptom. To register the CD, you need to come in 30min prior to your visit. If you have insurance that has contract with SMC, please contact in advance and request a Guarantee of Payment.

    If you are in need of a medication prescription, you must consult with a doctor about the symptoms and disease. If you are in need of refilling your current medication, you must provide the doctor with information about the medication such as the name and directions of the medication.

    If you wish to visit IHS for treatment from overseas, visit the IHS website and fill out the MAKE AN APPOINTMENT page for a reservation. Prior to treatment, you will receive information about the diagnostic checkup, possible treatment methods, lodging for treatment period, an estimate for treatment, etc. sent to your private e-mail account. Once the reservation is made, concierge service can be arranged for translation support for your language, hotel information, transportation from the airport to the hospital, etc. In addition, if your identification is cleared, documentation support for an entry visa acquisition is also available. If your disease is critical or if it is an emergency requiring accompanying medical personnel, an ambulance from the airport to the hospital can also be arranged.
